Established in 1966 Globe Loan Jewelry Co. is Bakersfields’ most
respected secondhand dealer. Our Mission is to treat all of our customers
with respect and provide them excellent customer service. We loan cash
money, our loans are good for 4 months, with rates set by the State of
California. Copies of all of our loans and buys are sent to the Bakersfield
Police Department. A drivers license or state ID is required to make a loan
or buy any items from a person who is at least 18 years of age. A 10 day
notice is sent as a reminder to pick-up the loan or to pay the interest.
The number one item brought in for a loan is jewelry.
Items NOT picked-up or renewed are put out for sale at a fraction of retail.
